Yesterday was a very long day. Accordingly, I was unable to write. But it's Friday now! Yeah!

Today was also a very tiring day. We had a Spanish quiz which apparently everybody failed, which is not very fun at all. You see, Mr. T gave us a list of (68) vocab words which we had to copy down five times each. That was a week before the test. Unfortunately, we all just copy the words down without thinking about their meaning, so when test time came 'round, we were all hit by that metaphorical tether ball which we had hurled lazily into our future. I've never liked tetherball.

After school, we had track. Today was a workout day since yesterday was a "rest" day. By "resting," I mean to say that we ran ~6 miles in 40 minutes. Fun stuff. Anyway, we had to run 8 sets of 400 meter sprints, and I managed to run each in 79 or 80 seconds, which is alright. I just started track two weeks ago as opposed to people who have been doing it since cross country season in Fall, so I'm slightly behind the curve. Hopefully I'll pull off the comeback, though :D

Then, at 7:00 p.m., my friends and I went to Chamber Music Night: two and a half hours of listening to smooth jazz and classical performances while eating desserts. Ugh. I'm so glad that's over with. As I told my friend Franklin, I had the same mentality during that show as I did while running the 400 meter intervals at track today.... "Only three more to go! C'mon, you can do this, Ryan!!!"

So that's about it. There are many detailed stories which I could tell from these two days, but those are just a tad too personal ;) It's been a very juicy three day week, though. I can barely resist the temptation to inscribe my knowledge on the permanent stone slab which is the internet! :P
